the rules of sharing.
we've all been around long enough to know the basic rules of icon sharing. there aren't many, but that shouldn't matter.

commenting is nice, but not required. comments serve several purposes because i like knowing the icons are being used and like checking out games.

crediting isn't that hard. really, it's not. making something look halfway decent takes time, and crediting, i can assure you, takes a hell of a lot less. a simple copying and pasting of 'made by aeons' into the comments section of the keywords for your icons will do. doing it for every single icon gets old, so if you just want to put "credit all/certain numbers to" me will do nicely.

no hotlinking. save the icons to your own computer and upload them from there, please and thanks. because photobucket is lame enough as it is, i don't want to have little boxes saying 'oops' instead of my icons. it makes it hard on everyone involved. okay? okay.

textless and borderless icons are not bases. in other words? no altering. slapping a border on or adding text to something i spent time working on is insulting. the icons were made a certain way for a reason. if you want specially colored hair, eyes or a certain border, just ask. don't just assume that a delay in response means it's okay to do it anyway.

i've got friends in high places and we talk. if i find any of these rules broken, i won't hesitate to make a list of usernames who've done so and post it in my userinfo. it's ugly and i'd rather not do it. but i will.
